Claudio Sanchez, founder of Evil Ink Comics, creator of THE AMORY WARS and KILL AUDIO, as well as frontman for the epic rock band, COHEED AND CAMBRIA, returns for his eighth consecutive year at San Diego Comic Con with a new series, a new video game, a big contest, exclusive merch items and a new trade!
KEY OF Z, a brand new mini-series co-written by Sanchez and wife Chondra Echert, follows Ewing-- a once proud father and holder of a special gift-- across a post-zombie-apocalyptic New York City as he seeks revenge on the two warring gangs who murdered his family. Coming from BOOM! Studios this October, with interior art from The Amory Wars' Aaron Kuder, cover Art by Nathan Fox and a variant by The WALKING DEAD's Tony Moore. Key Of Z promises to be a visually stunning dramatic tale.
In celebration of this, Evil Ink will be holding a contest where YOU can be an extra in Key Of Z! Winners will be drawn into the comic and their names mentioned somewhere inside. Be a part of Key of Z history forever, look for the QR code at the booth.
The Amory Wars - the sci-fi tale behind Coheed and Cambria's songs and lyrics, and Evil Ink's hottest selling comic title - will come to life as a video game for iPad and Iphone late this year. The EIC booth will have conceptual art from the game on display, and the team will begin rolling out more info on www.everythingevil.com as it becomes available.
SDCC Exclusive! Nathan Fox limited-edition Key OF Z lithograph will be available at the EIC booth (#1031), 250 signed and numbered!
The Amory Wars - In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 (EIC/Boom! Studios) just wrapped up its 12-issue maxi with a dynamic final battle-royale! Trade #3 will be collected just in time to be available at SDCC!
Sanchez and Echert will be on hand to do signings at the EIC booth (1031) at 3pm on Thursday, 4pm on Friday and Saturday, and 1pm on Sunday.
